ChooseGOD uses Supabase for secure authentication and database storage. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, reading progress, notes, and bookmarks.
Our AI features are powered by OpenAI. When you use the AI companion, your queries are processed to provide helpful responses. No personally identifiable information (PII) is sent to AI models. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. Your spiritual journey remains private and confidential.
The AI companion operates within strict theological boundaries. All AI-generated content is constrained to orthodox Christian doctrine. The system uses the Socratic method to guide study, not to preach or replace pastoral guidance. AI interactions are processed through theological boundary prompts before any response is generated.
We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how features are used and improve the app experience. We use Sentry for error tracking to identify and fix bugs quickly. Both services receive only anonymized or pseudonymized data. You can opt out of analytics in app settings.

ChooseGOD is a Bible study application that provides Scripture reading, AI-powered study assistance, and personal annotation features. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You agree not to misuse the App or help anyone else do so. This includes attempting to access the App through unauthorized means, interfering with the App's operation, or using the App for any unlawful purpose.
The AI companion feature is provided as a study aid and should not be considered a substitute for pastoral guidance, theological education, or professional advice. AI-generated content may contain errors and should be verified against Scripture. The AI operates within theological guardrails designed to keep responses within orthodox Christian doctrine, but no automated system is infallible.
The App and its original content (excluding user-generated content and Scripture texts) are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Scripture texts are used under applicable licenses and permissions.
ChooseGOD is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
